Background

Professor Cristián H. Ricci is an expert in literature of the Hispanic World, particularly Spanish literature of the 20th century. A native of Argentina, Ricci is also an expert on that country’s literature and culture. Most recently, his research has focused on North African literature in Arabic, French and Spanish. Within that topic, he’s most specialized in Jewish and Arab writers of Spanish expression, and literature written during the North African migrations to Spain and to France, the Netherlands and Germany.

Ricci is a graduate of CSU Los Angeles and earned his master’s and doctoral degrees from UC Santa Barbara.
