Alex Whalley`s research focuses on the economics of labor markets. In previous work he has studied racial difference in the impact of education on labor income uncertainty, examined whether individuals are accurately able to estimate the labor market impact of job training services they have received, and assessed the impact of college quality ranking guides on university behavior.
