Immigration
Description
Immigration has fueled the growth of California since the first Europeans arrived here hundreds of years ago. Each new wave of immigrants has brought ideas and culture as well as challenges to overcome. Professors at UC Merced can address issues of language, art, cultural interaction and policy that surround the immigration in the past, present and future.
